The main content of TendoVis™ is STABHA™ (Soft Tissue Adapted Biocompatible Hyaluronic Acid).
TendoVis™ is a registered product with the CE mark, and both TendoVis™ and the manufacturing process for STABHA™ are patented.
TendoVis™ treats Grade 1 and 2 ankle sprains via peri-articular injection. The fanning technique ensures optimal interaction with torn ligaments by evenly spreading TendoVis™ across the injury site.
A clinical study against placebo have shown that TendoVis™ enabled most patients to attain pain-free and disability-free return to sports 6 days faster in a 17-day recovery period.
TendoVis™ is able to strengthen the ankle’s ligaments during the healing process and reduce scar tissue through a full potential of interaction within the fibrin network of the injured ligaments, a better quality of healing is possible
TendoVis™ containing STABHA™ can aid the completion of the healing process with less scar tissue thus improving the quality of healing and allowing the ankle to regain its former strength. There is also a reduced the rate of recurrence.
Hyaluronic acid has the ancillary effect of reducing pain and limiting inflammation.TendoVis™ containing STABHA™ will help reduce pain and limit inflammation in an ankle sprain due to these ancillary effects with low probability of systemic side effects (none experienced during clinical trials until now).
TendoVis™ contains STABHA™ (Soft Tissue Adapted Biocompatible Hyaluronic Acid), specifically formulated for optimal interaction with ligaments and tendons due to its high purity and biocompatibility.
Once injected into the injury site, STABHA™ binds to torn ligament fibres, reinforcing the fibrin network and supporting the healing process.
Using the fanning technique, TendoVis™ is evenly distributed across the injury site, saturating the area for maximum therapeutic effect and accelerated recovery.
Incorporating TendoVis™ into the R.I.C.E. standard of care not only accelerates recovery but also ensures a comprehensive approach to managing ankle sprains effectively.
