About TendoVis™

Composition of TendoVis™

Composition of TendoVis™

The main content of TendoVis™ is STABHA™ (Soft Tissue Adapted Biocompatible Hyaluronic Acid).

Certification & Patents

Certification & Patents

TendoVis™ is a registered product with the CE mark, and both TendoVis™ and the manufacturing process for STABHA™ are patented.

Application and Technique

Application and Technique

TendoVis™ treats tennis elbow via peri-articular injection. The fanning technique ensures optimal interaction with the tendon structure by evenly spreading TendoVis™ across the injury site.

Benefits

Key Benefits of TendoVis™

Reduce Time to Recovery

Reduce Time to Recovery

A clinical study against placebo has shown that patients in the TendoVis™ group were able to return to sports activity within 18 (±11) days. This was not seen in the control group.

Improve Quality of Healing

Improve Quality of Healing

By interacting with the collagen fibres in the tendon, biocompatible TendoVis™ facilitates the fibres into their normal parallel alignment for faster healing. TendoVis™ also acts as a structural support and lubricant at the injury site to improve the healing process.

Reduce Rate of Recurrence

Reduce Rate of Recurrence

TendoVis™ containing STABHA™ (Soft Tissue Adapted BIOCOMPATIBLE Hyaluronic Acid) will help reduce the pain in tennis elbow / epicondylalgia due to these ancillary effects with low probability of systemic side effects.

Manage Pain

Manage Pain

Hyaluronic acid has an ancillary effect of reducing pain and limiting inflammation. TendoVis™ containing STABHA™ will help reduce pain and limit inflammation due to these ancillary effects with a low probability of systemic side effects (none experienced during clinical trials until now).

Mode of Action

How TendoVis™ works?

01

Designed for Soft Tissue Integration

TendoVis™ contains STABHA™ (Soft Tissue Adapted Biocompatible Hyaluronic Acid), specifically formulated for optimal interaction with ligaments and tendons due to its high purity and biocompatibility.

02

Supports and Strengthens Tendons

Once injected into the injury site, STABHA™ binds to the injured tendons, reinforcing the fibrin network and supporting the healing process.

03

Optimised Delivery and Action

Using the fanning technique, TendoVis™ is evenly distributed across the injury site, saturating the area for maximum therapeutic effect and accelerated recovery.

Guidelines

Using TendoVis™ with R.I.C.E. for Optimal Recovery

Incorporating TendoVis™ into the R.I.C.E. standard of care not only accelerates recovery but also ensures a comprehensive approach to managing tennis elbow effectively.

Administering TendoVis™

TendoVis™ is a peri-articular injection that can only be performed by a medical professional that has been trained in the injection technique. TendoVis™ should be injected into the injury site and the 2nd injection shall be administered 1 week following the 1st injection.

R.I.C.E. Principles (to be used concurrently)

Rest: Avoid activity to prevent further injury.
Ice: Apply 15-20 minutes per hour to reduce swelling.
Compression: Use a bandage to manage swelling and support the area.
Elevation: Keep the injured area elevated above heart level when resting.

Benefits of Combined Care

Using TendoVis™ together with the R.I.C.E. standard of care will allow the patient to regain mobility and experience less pain more quickly.
